There have been times where a skatepark is just not enough. That’s how Red bull started transforming city centers into what a rider would call a dream. MTB and BMX riders from all around the world get together to do what they’re most passionate about, riding their bikes fast, clearing jumps, and landing new tricks. With Red bull making all this possible, you got to be sure that it will be something no one has ever seen or expected.
The latest event was on August 20-21 in Katowice, Poland. It goes to prove that nothing is impossible when it comes to building a Slopestyle Course in the middle of a city. All that’s needed is willingness and love for the sport. To achieve this, 10 heavy equipment trucks, a little over 3,000 square meters of plywood, and 11 days of hard, but definitely worth it, work were used by a 70-person construction team.
Course Track Specs
The track started from the roof of the International Congress Center in the town, and it featured a 16-meter drop from that roof. To get a better image of the whole track, our video will guide you through every aspect of the podium through the winners’ POV (make sure you have a bucket available, just in case you feel dizzy \m/ — just kidding).
In total, 7 obstacles were waiting for the riders, which were of two types. The one was more technical, closer to the experience of a skatepark, and the second one was, of course, the huge jumps used to do sick tricks.

Best Trick First place
After the main event, a second competition took place. The one for the best trick, where Nicholi Rogatkin took the first place with a crazy twister (watch our video below to see Nicholi’s winning round for the best trick).
Rankings - Red Bull Roof Ride Results
Long story short, Godziek Bros dominated the event. Dawid took the first place, and Szymon the third. “I and my brother always wanted to share the same podium in a contest and that’s a dream coming true”, Szymon says in an interview after the event.

It was INSANE
